Superstar diva Mo'Nique will rock your funny bone at this year’s Pre-Party. Since taking to the stage 16 years ago after quitting her phone company job in Baltimore, this plus-sized icon has parlayed her bold and empowering brand of hilarity on the stand-up circuit into a multifaceted career as an author and entertainer. She starred as Nikki Parker on the hit UPN television series The Parkers, hosted the nationally televised Showtime at the Apollo series, and earned numerous accolades for her role in the hit stand-up comedy film The Queens of Comedy. She’s currently host of the VH1 hit Charm School, and recently shot the feature film The Better Man opposite Martin Lawrence.

This year’s ONE MIGHTY ENTERTAINER is Taylor Dayne, whose three albums for Arista Records — Tell It To My Heart, Can't Fight Fate and Soul Dancing — produced twelve Top 20 singles, among them the chart-topping Love Will Lead You Back. Tell It To My Heart garnered three Grammy nominations and sold more than 75 million albums and singles worldwide. The big-haired pop princess of the 80s recently returned to the Billboard 200 and the Hot Dance Club Play chart with Beautiful, a single from the 2008 release Satisfied.
